The easiest way to clean shower doors

Shower doors often become covered in soap scum and all sorts of other impurities that you should know how to remove.

I have some tricks under my sleeve when it comes to cleaning shower doors that I want to share with you so that I can make your life a lot easier since maintaining your bathroom clean is very important.

Use vinegar

Heat one cup of vinegar in the microwave for 30 seconds and place it into a spray bottle. Make sure you add a couple of drops of dishwashing liquid in there as well.

Spray the mixture all over the shower doors and let it sit there for five minutes.

Then continue with scrubbing using a sponge. Once you are done make sure you rinse the surface as well as dry it down with a cloth.

Use lemon juice

Lemon smells great – a lot better than vinegar so if you aren’t a huge fan of the smell then I would advise you to try out this cleaning method instead.

Again, spray lemon juice all over the shower doors and wait five minutes. Continue with scrubbing using a sponge. Once you are ready, dry the surface – there is no need to rinse it.

Use ammonia

Please, never use ammonia if you are cleaning your bathroom with chlorine bleach since mixing the two ingredients might form toxic fumes that are extremely dangerous.

Mix one tablespoon of ammonia with 4 cups of warm water. Pour the mixture in a spray bottle.

Open the windows in your bathroom and spray the solution all over the shower doors. Again, wait for five minutes then scrub with a sponge.

When you are done don’t rinse – simply dry the door with a cloth.
