A Homemade Soft Scrub Cleaner To Clean Your Bathroom

I know that the bathroom is the room you absolutely hate cleaning and you avoid it like the plague, however, all of the cleaning chores waiting for you won’t just disappear. In fact, the longer you postpone cleaning your bathroom the harder it would be.

Of course, I myself used to hate cleaning the bathroom because I didn’t exactly know which cleaner to buy and use. There are so many different surfaces that need both cleaning and disinfecting – the sink, countertop, the bathtub, toilet, the tiles, and the fixtures.

Thankfully, ever since I decided to switch from using commercial cleaners to actually making my own using natural ingredients cleaning has been so much easier! I use a few ingredients to make an all-purpose cleaner that I truly use on just about any surface in my home – in all rooms. I also make a soft scrub cleaner which I use whenever I want to deep clean my bathroom. It’s really simple and you don’t need any fancy ingredients. Let me teach you how to make it!

How To Make A Soft Scrub Cleaner?

You need a cup of baking soda, 1/4 cup of Castile soap, 2 tablespoons of water, and around 10 drops of any essential oil you like. I like using lavender because of its antibacterial properties, however, you can experiment!

Mix all of these ingredients into a mason jar or any other container with a lid – and your scrub cleaner is ready!

How To Use It?

If I have to be honest, you can use this scrub in every room – not just the bathroom, however, I mainly use it there. Sometimes I scrub my kitchen sink with it as well.

I wouldn’t recommend you using it on any untreated surfaces such as marble, wood, or granite because it might damage them.

I simply scoop some of the mixtures on a sponge and start scrubbing… the entire bathroom. I cover my sink, bathtub, faucets, toilet, and even the tiles.

Once I am done, I rinse everything with the showerhead.
